Pac-Man meets Diablo, where ghosts and demons are dancing to the music.

In this unusual mix of the classics, you play as Little One, an American Teddywidder dropped into a rabbit hole of ever-morphing, nightmarish dungeons where everything around you wants you dead, and as the saying goes, "If you're going through hell, keep going!" Get stronger with abilities, armors, weapons, attacks, and curses, and blast through the dancing hallucinations, and fight your way out of madness!

What's in the box?

Every run is packed with arcadey moment-to-moment gameplay that is designed to make you forget that the game also has deep RPG elements with vast choices of weapons, attacks, armors, and abilities, each with their own elemental aspect “Pyre, Aqua, Volt, etc…” with lesser focus on exploration and more emphasis on the sense of extreme immediacy.

What does Anti-Rhythm even mean?!

Traditionally, Rhythm games require the player to execute certain actions in sync with the beat. Psycho Banger flips that concept on its head, letting you move and attack freely while making the environment you explore and the enemies you fight, dance and move with the music instead. This approach heightens your senses and immerses you in the heat of the action without the burden of having to operate entirely in sync with the tune.

You don’t get to stop runnin’, so you better start gunnin’!

With every layer of madness you descend to, you have no choice but to keep running for your life, quite literally. You can freely turn in 90°, and aim and shoot in 360°, but you can never stop running. Your only option is to use the abilities at your disposal and improvise on the fly to clear the area and move on to the next.

One More Thing!

In Psycho Banger, we didn't just sync a few enemies here and there with a few banger songs we personally liked. Instead, we built an entire system that allows every enemy and obstacle to dance with any track. We went an extra step and created a full-fledged, in-game music choreographer to allow our community to make the game dance to whatever beat they desire!
